Every person/company has good stories to tell, but often just do not realise it.

One of the most efficient forms of communications that mankind has developed is the narration of stories.

Stories basically transfer information convincingly as objective accounts about strategic objectives, dates, numbers and facts. Stories put this information in a tangible context, give them sense and breathe life into them. Stories enable one to learn from the experience of another.

Companies are increasingly rethinking their inwards and outwards communication in terms of the power of storytelling. As such, storytelling is developing into one of the most innovative and promising management methods, to gain mastery over change, to deliver the core of a message, to build or improve customer relationships, to create more effective and livelier presentations, to inspire ideas for collaborative learning among colleagues, to solve problems and to better present the company to the corporate world.

  • Fundamentals on the method of storytelling
  • What must the narrator know? How do I tell good stories?
  • Finding good stories inside the company
  • Which stories can I or we tell about our companies? (In Stories lay hidden the wisdom of the organistion, of initiatives, of projects or of the company. In stories, it becomes clear, how people in initiatives and projects think about one another, what they standfor, which values, which mission their engagement determine.)
  • The discovery of a story...for what areas and subjects do you need a story?

Methodical and didactical hints for the course

Theoretical and methodical inputs, group work, discussion, role play, reflection, individualand group feedback. The seminar requires coordination and preliminary preparation with respective companies.
